About the Role:

We are urgently seeking a Professional Defensive Driver on behalf of our client. This is not just a typical driver role - we’re looking for a skilled, street-smart, and highly alert personal driver who is defensive on the road, well-versed with Nairobi routes and traffic patterns, and professional in conduct. The ideal candidate should combine expert driving skills with technological savviness and personal discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely and efficiently transport the client to various destinations within and outside Nairobi.
2. Practice defensive driving techniques at all times to ensure maximum safety.
3. Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle at all times.
4. Monitor vehicle performance and schedule maintenance as needed.
5. Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
6. Navigate Nairobi traffic with ease and find alternative routes when necessary.
7. Use computer tools (e.g., maps, tracking apps, email) as directed.
8. Keep a daily log of trips and vehicle status reports.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Valid Smart Driving License with relevant endorsements.
2. Minimum KCSE Certificate.
3. Proven experience of at least 3 years as a personal driver.
4. Must be computer literate – able to operate mobile apps, email, and navigation tools.
5. Strong knowledge of Nairobi roads, shortcuts, and traffic dynamics.
6. Certificate(s) in defensive driving or related fields will be an added advantage.
7. Professional, discreet, punctual, and reliable.
